Tara Kelly is the award-winning author of HARMONIC FEEDBACK (OCTE Oregon Spirit Award, YALSA’s Best Fiction for Young Adults, Bank Street Best Children’s Books) and AMPLIFIED (OCTE Oregon Spirit Award Honor). She’s been editing new adult, young adult, and middle grade manuscripts for three years. Her clients have included aspiring, self published, and traditionally published authors. Her editing style has been described as insightful, detailed, honest, and encouraging. She doesn’t pull punches, but she goes out of her way to highlight the strengths of a manuscript. In addition to being an editor and author, Tara is a one-girl-band, guitar addict, avocado junkie, and all-around goofball.
Laura Taylor has a geography degree with a minor in English. For the past five years, she has worked with authors, providing both copy and developmental editing. Laura also likes to attend conventions, where she takes notes at writing panels and shares them on her blog, lstaylor.blogspot.com. An author of fantasy and science fiction, particularly YA fantasy, she strongly believes in the importance of making changes to a manuscript for the good of the story, and that one can never stop learning. When not nerding out or writing, she can be found swinging a sword or, in the summer, jumping off cliffs.
